About Me
For the last 20 years, I have worked as an addiction specialist. Not only do I work with addicts, but I work with families as well who have been affected by drugs. I work every day to explain that addiction is a sickness with physical and psychological effects. I also explore the reasons why some individuals become addicted to drugs and how the brain and neurotransmitters change in the body of an addict. I know there has always been a negative stigma behind drug addiction, but addicts are mentally ill and need to be treated with respect and decency. I want to break the barrier of the negative stigma, and I know I can do that by teaching you and everyone else who reads this blog about the truth about drugs.
